Richard Duane Winters
Richard Duane Winters, 67, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his residence.
Richard, was born on February 7, 1950 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a son of Darrel Andrew Winters and Welda (Sohl) Winters. He was a master boilermaker and a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Richard was also a proud Gideon, uncle, daddy, and grandpa. He loved his family and will forever be remembered for his generous nature, wise counsel, and humorous story-telling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kimberly Lynn Winters; two brothers, Jimmy Winters and Bobby Winters; and two sisters, Karen Wolfe and Paula Wilson. Richard is survived by his children; Amber Perrodin and husband Jonathan, Staci Drummond and husband Danny all of Springdale, Arkansas and Aaron King and wife Kristie of Highfill, Arkansas; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral service will be that same day and begin at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
