Charles Delmar Wood

Charles Delmar Wood, 77, of Springdale passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. He was born May 28, 1939 in Springfield Ohio. He retired from the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also retired as a long haul truck driver. He enjoyed his Family, Church, fishing and the Masons. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, and his first child. Survivors include: a brother, John Wood, sister, Iris Smith, sons, Michael and Charles Wood, daughters, Deborah Sommers, Michelle Grosser, Kim Wood, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3rd at Spring Creek Fellowship. Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
