Harry D. East 83, of Marion, Arkansas died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. East was the President of East Cotton Company and a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, William R. East Sr. and Margaret Inez East, two sons, Harry D. East Jr. and Murray David East. He is survived by his wife, Gloria D. East of Marion, Ark.; a son Michael Dennis East (Baylus) of Marion, Ark.; two sisters, Carolyn East and Jean Timbs both of Marked Tree, Ark.; two brothers, Eric East (Gloria) of Concord, Va.; William R. East Jr. of Jonesboro, Ark.; three grandchildren, Emilee East Brigman (Brack), Michael D. East Jr. (Jodi) and Wilkes D. East (Erica) and three great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth East, Hamer and Bo Brigman. Visitation will be on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. until, service time at 11 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas with burial following at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.
