Jack Tackett

Jack Tackett, age 89, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was born on July 20, 1927 in Glenwood, the son of Jewell Tackett and Vida Pounds Tackett. On January 20, 1951, he was married to Juanita Johnson. He retired from AP&L, now Entergy, in 1989 and was a member of the Glenwood First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Tackett, of Glenwood; his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Cathy Tackett of Hot Springs; three grandchildren, Alan Tackett, Autumn Jones and Alex Tackett; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with interment in Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
