Michael Riley Philips

MICHAEL RILEY PHILIPS, 72, of Sherwood, Ark., passed from this life on Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born on August 2, 1944 in Beebe, Ark., to the late John and Ann Philips. He was also preceded in death by one son, Phillip M. Randolph; three sisters; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was a Masonic Mason, loved his time while living on the beach, hot air ballooning and driving his Porsche. Mike is survived by his cousin and best friend for life, Glynnette Hale; two children, Doug Rodriguez (Lisa) and Darnelle Baingo; five grandchildren, Brittni, Chris, Scooter, Audrey and Andrew; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Logann. A special thanks to Jackie Blair for the care she provided. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Oak Church of Christ in El Paso, Ark., by Clergy David Riley, with burial to follow at Blasingame Cemetery in El Paso.
