Harvey Theodore Herold Jr

Harvey Theodore Herold Jr., 96, of Lady's Island, S.C., died Wednesday, March 08, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Herold was born in Newark, N.J., to the late Dr. Harvey and Effie Herold. He was a World War II United State Navy Captain. Mr. Herold was employed with Bell System, where he retired as a Vice President with AT&T. While President Bill Clinton was Governor of Arkansas, Mr. Herold served on his cabinet. He was predeceased by two daughters, Linda and Christy. Mr. Herold is survived by a son, Harvey Herold III; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Friends of Caroline Hospice, 1110 13th Street, Port Royal, S.C. 29935.
