Ruth Kirkpatrick-Pollett

Ruth Kirkpatrick-Pollett, 92, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was born May 1, 1924 in Beebe, Ark. In 1941, she married her husband of 53 years, John Kirkpatrick, and they made their home in North Little Rock. Ruth was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She was an excellent cook and also enjoyed singing and gardening. She is survived by her son, Philip and wife Cathy Kirkpatrick; granddaughter Kristine and husband Brian Elam, all of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Dick Hefner of Paragould; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Odis and Jewel Hefner; husbands John Kirkpatrick and Carl Pollett; sister Odie Hefner; and brother Denver Hefner. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Lakewood Health & Rehab and Arkansas Hospice.
