Major Theprus Kimbrough

MAJOR THEPRUS KIMBROUGH was born Sept. 11, 1921 in Scott, Ark., to the late Willie and Sarah Kimbrough. He served in WWII for the US Navy. Major was a Master Floor and Tile Tech. He was employed with SteinKamp and he also owned his own business "Kimbrough Floor Covering Service" for 40 plus years. Major departed on Tuesday March7, 2017. Preceded in death by wife, Rosella; daughter, Georgia Lenora Smith; and son, Paul W. Kimbrough Sr. Survived by his sons, Major G. Kimbrough, of Humble, Texas, Herbert L. Kimbrough, of Menifee, Ark., Ray A. (Debbie) Kimbrough Sr. of Little Rock, Ark. and Joseph L. (Reginia) Kimbrough of Conway, Ark.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew Mark A. (Cynthia) Kimbrough of Little Rock, Ark. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017, 11 a.m., at First Liberty Hill Church, 2801 Spring Street, Little Rock, Ark. Family visitation: Wednesday, March 15, 2017, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. Interment will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 10 a.m., with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. NLR, Ark.
