Norman Milton Hollimon

It is with a heavy heart, I am announcing the passing of my Dad, Norman Milton Hollimon, (Uncle Milty) born in Pine Bluff, Ark. Oct. 23, 1932 and passed away March 5, 2017. He died peacefully in his home in Fort Smith surrounded by his children. He was survived by his four children, Elizabeth Hollimon, John Hollimon, Mark Hollimon and wife Cee Cee Pollan Hollimon and Tracy Hollimon Atha and husband Aaron Atha. He had five grandchildren, Amanda Hollimon Thomas (deceased), Julia Matthew, Colton Agee, Mason Agee, and Marcus Matthew. He is survived by the mothers of his children, Caroline Johnston and Jackie Corley. He is preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Hollimon, James Hollimon; and sisters, Alice Matthews and Mary Grace Edmondson. Milt's family was the most important part of his life. He worked at Mead Containers for over 30 years. He was the top salesman at Mead for many of those years. Uncle Milty loved people, golfing, singing and dancing. He was famous for his animated joke telling. The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017 at Edwards Funeral home.
