Pearl M. McCarty

Pearl M. McCarty, age 92, of Greers Ferry, Ark., passed away on March 13, 2017 in Clinton, Ark Born on December 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Jim Davis and Hattie Bittle Davis. Mrs. McCarty was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the West Side Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Arnold McCarty. She is survived by her children, Jerry McCarty and Patricia Thomas (and her husband Larry); her grandchildren James (Joni) Thomas, Jeremy (Stacy) Thomas, Rebeka (J.D.) Coursey, Tiffany (Donny) Stephenson, Paul (Heather) McCarty and Caleb McCarty; her great-grandchildren Jacob Coursey, Landen Coursey, Abigail Thomas, Sawyer Thomas, Madison Tully, Landon Tully, Haylee Thomas, Jesse Thomas, Max Stephenson, Brecken Stephenson, Lillie Stephenson and Samuel McCarty. Mrs. McCarty is also survived by her other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Interment follows in Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery.
