He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Oradean Clay, six sons, Bobby (Edith), Roderick, Kevin, Vertis, Mark, daughter, Valerie (Ron) Settlers, four brothers, Willie, Sammie, James, Odell Clay, sister, Alice Jumper, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Clay, brothers, Johnny, Arthur Clay, one sister, Marilyn Williams.
