Dolores Kathleen Fletcher, 86, of Rogers, died Monday, March 13 at Ashley Heath & Rehab in Rogers. She was born August 31, 1930 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Percy "Bud" Shermer and Voicie Elizabeth Brice Shermer. Dolores graduated from Rogers High School in 1948. She was employed for several years at the Pea Ridge Canning Factory and was also a custodian at Pea Ridge Public Schools for many years, although her favorite job was being a homemaker and raising her three boys. She and her husband spent nearly twenty years living in Kansas after they were married then moved to the Pea Ridge/Rogers area to make their home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge and is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of thirty-five years Roy Fletcher, one son Rodney Fletcher, one brother Rex Shermer, and two sisters Willa Dean Rominger and Poladean Johnson. Survivors are two sons, Doug Fletcher (Janet) of Mounds, Oklahoma, and Bobby Fletcher of Rogers; one brother, Raymond Shermer of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren Tammy Fletcher, Sandra McCormick, Bobby Fletcher, Courtney Beene, and Whitney Edwards; four great-grandchildren Destiny Guyll, Hunter Beene, Peyton Edwards Skyler Edwards, and one great-grandchild on the way; one great-great-grandson Valentino Martinez; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Pea Ridge Cemetery. No visitation. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
