Larry Newkirk, Sr.
Larry Newkirk, Sr., 76, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was born August 8, 1940 in Sanborn, Ind., a son of Albert Newkirk and Edna McKee Newkirk. He was a retired Pulaski County Deputy Sheriff, 32nd degree Mason and Past Master of Forest Park Masonic Lodge #747, retired Fire Chief at Cammack Village, member of the Scimitar Shrine in Arkansas, and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son, Larry Newkirk, Jr. of Oppelo; sister, Edna Stockard of Fayette, Ga.; granddaughters, Taylor Newkirk of Little Rock, and Madison Newkirk of Houston, Texas; great-granddaughter, Lilah Watson. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Leroy Newkirk and Ralph Kenneth Newkirk; and sister, Ellouise Newkirk.
