BETTY LOU TURNER, 82, of North Little Rock passed away March 16, 2017. She was born Aug. 9, 1934 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Bevie and Deal Tolliver Brown. Betty was a member of Levy Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a member of The Ladies Auxiliary of the North Little Rock Fireman's Association for 10 years, she also served as President and was a charter member of the Burns Park Women's Golf Association, serving as various officers including President during her 30 year membership. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Ira Turner and two brothers, J.D. and Bob Brown. She is survived by son, Charles (Ann) Turner of Conway and grandson Casey (Sarah) Turner also of Conway. Sister, Joann Gravitt of North Little Rock, nieces and nephews, Karen Sue Brewster, Danny Love, Debbie Love, Tracey Brown and Terry Brown Campbell. Memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel, 116 South Pine St., North Little Rock, Ark. 72114, or the charity of your choice. Memorial service will be held, 2 p.m., Tuesday March 21, 2016 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. Family will receive guests and friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to service for visitation and reception.
