Amelia Elise Faulk died Friday, March 17, 2017, at home in Bentonville, Ark. She was born April 13, 1990 (Good Friday) in Fayetteville, Ark. to Tor and Teresa Faulk.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry and Rebecca Faulk. Amelia is survived by her parents; sisters, Olivia and Sophia; brother, Will; grandparents, Richard and Amy Prime and her beloved niece, Kennedy. Other survivors include her aunts and uncles, Beth Faulk, Kurt and Kim Faulk, Philip and Sandra Prime, Mark and Michelle Prime, Jason Prime, and Jeremy & Yolanda Prime; many cousins whom she loved dearly; and her "sisters since childhood", Alice Havner Kent and Cassie Ledford Howard. Amelia was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, brittle bone disease, making her very fragile. Despite her physical condition, she chose to live her life as independently as she could. She was fearless in her desire to learn about and experience the world with her family & friends. Amelia didn't worry about what she couldn't do her focus was on what she could do. She enriched everybody she met with her loving spirit and grit. She enjoyed talking about Jesus, reading with her Grandpa, crafts with Aunt Beth, all food cooked by her Grandma, spending time with her friends, her pets, all culinary adventures & traveling especially to New York City.

Our entire family would like to express our love and profound gratitude to her many caregivers both at home and the Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH). Since birth, Amelia has been cared for & loved by the many professionals from ACH. Locally, we have been blessed with capable, compassionate care from Northwest Arkansas Pediatric Clinic, Mercy Health, & home health caregivers. The impact each of you made on Amelia's life was extraordinary. A special "Thank you" to Pamela Joan Fair Chrisco, for a lifetime of loving care. Amelia loved the Lord, her Church, family and friends. Her journey continues in the arms of the Lord.

A celebration of Amelia's life will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 1 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 901 N.E. "J" Street, Bentonville, Ark.

To honor Amelia, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or Rogers Humane Society.
