VIRGIL "DON" CROOK, of North Little Rock, 81, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 17, 2017. He fought a long and courageous battle with his illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Clayton Crook and Ruby Howlett Crook; and his brother, Robert Henry Crook Sr. He is survived by his children's mother, Sandra S. Reeg, the love of his life; daughter, Terri (Hector) Reyes; daughter, Tamara (Joe) Harrison; daughter, Shanna (Filippo) Gallina; son, Kevin (Debbie) Crook; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clifton (Jennalyn) Crook. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a war veteran as well as a deep sea scuba diver of which he also instructed. Following his military time, he became a Cosmetology instructor and owned two Cosmetology schools. He loved his family and his Razorbacks. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 22 at Ironton Baptist Church, located at 14718 Ironton Rd, Little Rock, Ark. 72206. A visitation will be held prior to service at 12 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Cadron Valley Cemetery, 336 Willow Bottoms Rd., Greenbrier, Ark.
