Georgia Virginia Lott Vaught, age 94, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. She was born April 7, 1922 in Houston, Arkansas, a daughter of George L. Lott and Birdie G. Jones Lott. She was the widow of Dewitt Vaught, retired from Headlight newspaper after 35 years and was a member of Houston Assembly of God where she was an organist since 1974. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Sam) Clinton; grandson, Darryl Jeffrey Williams; three step grandchildren, Darrin Clinton, Kenneth Clinton, and Steven Clinton; two great-grandsons, Ryan Williams and Joseph Williams; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Williams; six step-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert Lott and sister, Francis Lott Lewallen. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Harris Chapel in Morrilton, Arkansas located at 1325 Oak Street, with Bro. Buddy Wroten and Bro. John Chapman officiating.
