Wanda Lee Hensley

Wanda Lee Hensley, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away March 19, 2017 at West Shores Assisted Living in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born on September 11, 1925 in Green Forest, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Raymond G. Reynolds and Gertrude Stewart Reynolds. Wanda was the widow of Buel W. Hensley who was the owner of Arkansas National Bank of Heber Springs. Wanda was a secretary and banking assistant. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed playing bridge and traveling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Buel Lee Hensley, her brothers Joe Reynolds and Glen Reynolds and her sister Katherine McIsaac. She is survived by her nieces and nephews as well as her other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in the Heber Springs Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Griesse officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the First United Methodist Church, 1099 W. Pine St., Heber Springs, Ark. 72543.
