Kathryn A. "Kay" "Honeybun" Harp Dobis, 74, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Kay was born November 20, 1942, in Pine Bluff, to Reginald and Fannie Jordan Harp. She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff, where she graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1961. She married Charles E. Dobis in Pine Bluff on June 1, 1968. Mrs. Dobis worked in the Trust Department as a Loan Officer at Simmons First National Bank for 23 years, retiring in 2008. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, antique hunting, NASCAR, and Elvis. Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Charles E. Dobis of Pine Bluff; four sons, Charles E. Dobis, Jr. of Little Rock, Thomas "Bo" Dobis of Springfield, Mo., Michael Joseph Dobis of Pine Bluff, and Bryan Patrick Dobis of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Thomas Justin Dobis, Jennifer Lynn Flores, Briana Dobis, Jessica Case, Marissa Smith, and Sydney Dobis; five great-grandchildren, Addelyn, Bradley, Brody, Hank, and Corey; and a brother, Joseph Harp of White Hall. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Corey Harp. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 25, 2017, 10 a.m., in the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, with Pastor Dick Couch officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
