Charles Gregory, 91, of Arkadelphia, Ark., was born on February 23, 1926 in Mabelvale, Ark., to S. A. Gregory and Arkie Fuller Gregory, and passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He is survived by his granddaughter, Brooke Gregory of Arkadelphia, daughter-in-law Martha Smith and stepson-in-law Michael Smith, both of Bismarck, Ark., as well as Betty Rittenberry and many extended family and friends. He was a Shriner and lifetime member of the Lions Club, as well as a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking and was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia. He retired from Superior Spring Company in North Little Rock after 42 years. He proudly served his country as a Marine and fought in both WWll and the Korean War. Charles is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jeannine Gregory, son Cecil Charles Gregory, and brother Virgil Gregory. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 2301 Crawford St. in Arkadelphia, followed by a graveside service at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark., at 2 p.m., with Bro.
