Carrie Jean Jones

Carrie Jean Jones, 89, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 27, 2017, at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Predeceased by her parents, Issac and Lula Nathaniel; her son, Edward Jones, Jr; grandson, Delsondro Hall; brother, Felton Nelson, Sr.; and three sisters, Ruthie Waters, Ollie Perry and Essie Lea Matthews. Survivors are four children: Edna Carroll, Vernell (Narda) Jones, William (Angela) Jones, Stephanie (Rickie) Sims all of Little Rock, Ark., and a host of nieces and grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 1, 2017, 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church Higgins, Arkansas, 9700 Hwy 365 South, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Cephus Cemetery, Wrightsville, Ark. Visitation: Friday, March 31, 2017, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305.
