Toya Ann Robinson, 35, of Sherwood gained her heavenly wings on March 24, 2017 surrounded by family at her home, after the most courageous battle against cancer .Toya was born in Chicago, Illinois to Sam Earl Robinson Jr., and her late mother Deloris Robinson. She's a graduate of Sylvan Hills High School and attended Pulaski Technical College.Toya accepted Christ in her heart and her love of God was shown as a loving mother, sister, friend, mentor, volunteer and community advocate. She worked with ABC Financial before joining the City of Little Rock City Clerk's Office, where she spent 11 years, and was the Deputy City Clerk. Toya is survived by her father, Sam Earl Robinson Jr., her children Dystinee' LeAnn, D'Miryon Ledell, D'Lorya Leigh, and Drelun Lydell Holloway, and a special niece, A'yania Mo'nee Gibson, her sisters; Earnestine, Inez Amanda, Christina, Kah'yah, and brothers; Jacob, Joseph, and Jabaris Robinson, all of North Little Rock, Little Rock and Sherwood, and her maternal grandmother, Earnestine Johnson. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her Godmother, Kimala Forrest, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deloris J. Robinson, maternal grandfather, BJ Johnson, and paternal grandparents LeAmanda Mitchell and Sammie Earl Robinson Sr. Visitation will be Friday, March 31 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Gillespie & Kelly Funeral Home, 2420 Arch St, Little Rock. Family hour March 31, 6 to 7 p.m. at Lee Chapel A.M.E. Church 421 W. 22nd Street, North Little Rock. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 1 at 11 a.m., New Life Church, 8000 Crystal Hill Rd, North Little Rock. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in NLR. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toya Ann Robinson "Go Fund Me" memorial fund to support her children.
