Ola Mae Fortner, age 84, of Farmington gracefully completed her life's journey Saturday April 29, 2017. She was born January 27, 1933 in Fayetteville to Clyde and Pearl Perryman Hayes. Ola was a devout Pentecostal and loved her church and God. She worked as a CNA at City Hospital for 25 years and then went to home health care. She was a naturally giving, caring person. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Richard Fortner, her sister Norma Louis, two grandsons, Daniel Keith Fortner and Jason Alexander Henson. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her beautiful smile and her gentle touch. She made you feel better just being around her. There was such a peaceful feeling about her. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Bohenna and her husband Bob of Goshen, Arkansas, Beverly McMinn and her husband Danny of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Gina Myer and her husband Wayde of Elkins, Arkansas; one son, Richard Keith Fortner and his wife Yvonne of Farmington, Arkansas; two sisters, Sue Browning of Greenland and Mary Piatt of Iowa; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday May 4, 2017 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel with no graveside service to follow.
