Wallace "Joe" Hill

Wallace Gene "Joe" Hill, 78, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017. He was born June 12, 1938 in Houston, Arkansas, a son of Ernest E. Hill and Odar Alice Lawson Hill Lively. He was a retired Service Manager at Thermogas Gas Company and attended First Baptist Church of Perryville. He is survived by his wife, Doris Johnson Hill of Perryville; children, Donna (Juan) Hill Coronado of Perryville, Deidra Hill of Beebe, and David (Billie) Hill of Bigelow; brother, Arnold (Barbara) Hill of Houston; sister, Mary Ellen Hill Lamb of Perryville; and grandchildren, Johnna (Ryan) Askins, John Michael Coronado, Jacqueline Coronado, Christopher Nelson, Elizabeth Hill, and Eric Hill. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Chester Lively; sisters, Inez Kizer, Ruby Woolf, Ruth Steele, and Iva Mae Edmondson; brothers, Jack Hill, Alvin Hill, Adolph Hill, Lenard Hill, and E. Franklin Hill. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at First Baptist Church of Perryville. Burial will be at May Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
