Ben Bolton

Ben Bolton, age 90, of Benton passed away on May 5, 2017. He was born to the late, Emmett and Lula Bolton in Redfield, Ark., on March 2, 1927. He was of Pentecostal faith and loved going to church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching westerns and Christian programs. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Troy, Roy Jeans and Billy Bolton; granddaughter, Samantha Renuard; and son, Ben Bolton Jr. (Carol). He is survived by three children, Darlene Cates (Monroe), Ramona Renuard and Jimmy Bolton (Sherry); ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Agness Duncan, Dottie Garrett (J.C.) and Betty Turney. The family would like to give special thanks to Baptist Medical Center for the compassionate care given to Mr. Bolton. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
