JEAN EVELYN BAKER HUDSON, age 90, of Little Rock, went to be with her heavenly Father early Friday morning, May 5, 2917 at Indian Rock Village in Fairfield Bay, Ark. She was born on Oct. 6, 1926 in Camden, Ark., to Willard Baker Sr. and Viola Crites Baker. She grew up in Camden, Ark., and graduated from Camden High School in 1944. Jean Evelyn married Blythe Andrew Hudson her high school sweetheart. They had one son, Danny Brooks Hudson, whom she raised in Pine Bluff, Ark., while Blythe served overseas in the military. She worked for many years as a bank teller during their many military moves. Jean and Blythe settled in Little Rock, Ark., in 1976 where they became members of Life Line Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was equally devoted to her Lord and Savior teaching Sunday school in the preschool department and serving as a Greeter. She will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Baker Sr. and Viola Crites Baker and her Husband, Blythe Hudson. Jean is survived by her brother, Willard Baker Jr. of Demopolis, Ala., and his wife Rebecca. Her son, Danny Hudson and his wife Ruby of Fairfield Bay, Ark., her granddaughters Myka Hudson of Fairfield Bay, Ark., and Heather Thomason and her husband Tyler of Bryant, Ark., and her great-grandsons, Brooks, Hudson, and Crews. A memorial service will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12, Little Rock, Ark., (501-661-9111) at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2917 with Rev. Jeff Dial officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
