Jeanette Shipley Phillips

Burlington-Jeanette Shipley Phillips went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016. She was a native of Bentonville, Ark., and the wife of 33 years to David Steven Phillips who survives. Jeanette was a retired university professor. She was a member of Frieden's Lutheran Church where she was the director of Child Care. Jeanette also was very active supporter of Welco. She is survived by her husband of the home; sons, Jeremy and Janie Phillips of Ft. Hood, Texas, Jason and Angel Phillips and Joe and Kim Phillips both of Arkansas; four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Sherman and Ila Christine Mason Shipley. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. by Rev. Dawn Donato at Fayetteville National Cemetery located at 700 Government Avenue, Fayetteville, Ark.
