Jefferson Tanner Dinning

Jefferson Tanner Dinning completed his final lap on April 14, 2017. He was born to Bill and Vera Margaret Dinning on Sept. 4, 1956 and grew up in Helena, Ark. After graduating from Central High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he learned the necessary skills for a career in later life, and, incidentally, traveled the world. Tanner was a Network Engineer for Fidelity Investments in Boston, Mass. and Merrimac, N.H. for 16 years. He then landed at a startup in Acton, Mass., Affirmed Networks, as a Senior Network Engineer. Tanner is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 23 years, Katie Williams Dinning and three chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Camber, Cardan and Senna all of S. Chelmsford, Mass.; one brother, W. Groves Dinning III, of Stratham, N.H.; and two sisters, S. Sharum Dinning and Darcy Lyn Dinning of Little Rock, Ark.; and one niece, Arleigh Cara Dinning of Concord, N.H. He was an avid Formula One, Indy Car and NASCAR fan and loved driving his Acura Type R. Tanner relished living on the lake and summers on the pontoon boat with Katie and the dogs. Memorials may be made to The Lowell Humane Society.
