Harvey L. Smith

Harvey L. Smith, age 80, of Little Rock, passed away May 7, 2017. He was born January 29, 1937, in Keo, Arkansas, to William and Pauline Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years, Cora Smith, grandson, Christopher Smith and brother, Billy Smith. He was a carpenter and worked for Our Lady of Good Counsel. He is survived by his children, Michael (Cindy) Smith, David (Phyllis) Smith, Theresa Hodge and Sandra (Steve) Lipe; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Smith and Doyle Smith; and by special friend, Joan Brown. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. and services Thursday, May 11, at 1:30 p.m., both at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. Rev. Jeff Hampton will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Habitat of Humanity (www.habitat.org).
