Ryan Thomas Hurst

Ryan Thomas Hurst, 16, of Alexander, passed away on May 7, 2017. He was born February 17, 2001 to Russell Kevin Hurst and Ashley Dale McAlister Hurst in Monroe, Louisiana. Ryan was a student at Bryant High School. He enjoyed music, talking on the phone and hanging out with his brothers and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Joan Hurst and maternal grandmother, Gladys Jean McAlister. Left to cherish his memory are his parents; brothers, Cody McAlister Hurst and Evan James Hurst; nephew, Eli Steven James Hurst; paternal grandfather, Walter Andrew Hurst Sr.; maternal grandfather, Fred Leon McAlister, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service officiated by Brother Dwayne Monk will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300. Burial will follow at Rainey Cemetery in Roland. The family will receive family and friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
