Patsy Mashburn Robertson

Patsy Mashburn Robertson, age 86, of North Little Rock, passed away May 10, 2017. She was born February 21, 1931, in Little Rock, to Louis and Catheron Mashburn. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janet Eagle. Patsy was a lifelong teacher having taught AP American History, Sociology and Psychology at Sylvan Hills High School. She loved to travel and visited all 50 states. She loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with her three grandsons. Patsy was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock for 57 years. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and member of the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gip Robertson, Jr.; son, Gip Allen Robertson; daughter, Diane Hum and husband, Bruce; three grandsons, Houston Hum and wife Julie, David Hum and wife Laura and Daniel Robertson and wife Catherine; three great-grandchildren, Hadley, Anne Elizabeth and Jackson; one niece and two nephews. She was loved dearly by all. When day was done she enjoyed relaxing in her recliner, in the kitchen, in front of the fireplace, with her favorite dachshund "Dach" in her lap and her husband beside her. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at Park Hill Baptist Church, 201 East C Avenue in North Little Rock, Rev. Luke Flesher officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
