Phyllis Devon Duhart

Phyllis Devon Duhart, 58, of Little Rock transitioned from this life May 6, 2017. She was born on November 10, 1958 in Dewitt, Arkansas to Mary Jewell Walters-Graves and was reared in Little Rock, Arkansas by her aunt, Annie Lee Williams as well. Phyllis' faith in Christ grew from an early age at St. Mark Baptist Church, where she was very active in the youth department. Phyllis met her husband, Courtney Duhart Sr. at an early age. Phyllis and Courtney Sr. got married on April 15, 1976, and were blessed with four children from their union. Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Graves, aunt, Annie Williams and her daughter, Briticia Walters. She is survived by her husband, Courtney Duhart Sr. of Cordelia, Mississippi, her children, Carey (IIeana) Duhart of Sherwood, Ark., Tawanna Duhart of Dallas, Texas, and Courtney Duhart, Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., and her sister, Shirley Graves of Kansas City, Kan. She will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Public Viewing is Friday May 12, 12 to 5 p.m. at Brown-Calhoun Funeral Chapel.
