Tilmer Keels

Tilmer Keels Jr., 71, of Shreveport, La. passed Friday May 12, 2017. He was born in North Little Rock, Ark. July 5, 1945 to Tilmer Keels Sr. and Beatrice Williams-Keels. He attended S.A. Jones High School and graduated in 1963. He received a BA in music from Mississippi Valley State College and a master's degree from Louisiana Tech University. He taught band in the Caddo school district and owned a successful architect business for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by wife: Clara Dandridge-Keels, both parents and sister: Dorothy Keels-Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories wife: Wannetta Roberts-Keels, children: Timeriya (Byron) Keels-Fitch, Justin Roberts, and Candace Roberts, two grandchildren, siblings: Phyllis Keels-Credit, Janie Keels-Jackson, and Donald (Evelyn) Keels Sr. all of North Little Rock, Ark.; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. A special aunt Lillian Keels-Richard. Family hour Friday May 19, 2017, 10 a.m. with funeral following at 11 a.m. at The Russell Road Church Of Christ in Shreveport, La.
