Berniece Ragsdale Vestal

Berniece R. Vestal, age 90, passed the bonds of this earth on the way to her heavenly journey on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Alcoa Pines in Benton, Ark. She was born in Choctaw, Ark., to Claude Ragsdale and Alice Newman on Sept. 4, 1926. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Brent Coker; her husband, William Richard Vestal Jr.; and her parents. She is survived by three daughters, Claudia Milam (Randy), Patricia Gipson (Sid), and Candy Ramsey; two grandchildren, Laura Calhoun and Brian Coker; three great-grandchildren, Tristan & Hayden Calhoun, and Brynley Coker; and one sister, Virgie Millwood of California. Special thanks to Nan, Becky, Niecie, Amanda, Cindy, and Luther for taking such great care of mom. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Berniece R.
