Nola Jeanne Henderson

Nola Jeanne Henderson, 79, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away after a brief illness, on May 21, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jeanne was born on November 24, 1937 to the late Harley and Florence Krisell Camp. Jeanne was born in in Seaton Dump, Arkansas. She was a graduate of England High School in 1955 and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she studied Home Economics. She loved her church, her Savior and her large extended family. She was an avid Razorback and Cardinal fan. Jeanne was married for 51 years to R.L. Henderson and lived in the Little Rock, Ark. and East End Community until 2002 when the couple relocated to Jonesboro, Ark. R.L. and Jeanne Henderson had four children; Meredith "Mikki" Reagan of Sheridan, Melinda Henderson of Jonesboro, Barry Henderson (Samantha) of Hot Springs and Dr. Connie Hill (Dr. Roger Hill) of Jonesboro. Jeanne is survived by her brother Tommy Camp (Ann) of El Paso, Arkansas; two sisters; Claudean Pierce (Ralph) of Bellevue, Nebraska and Kathy Phillips (Gary) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She is survived by six grandchildren: Barry L. Henderson, Jr. (Kelsey) of Jonesboro; Andrew Hill (Bobbi) of Houston, Texas; Margaret Faughn (Ricky) of Paragould; Nora Nance and Salena long (Damian) of Sheridan; and J Lauren Ball (Cary) of the Jonesboro. Seven great-children survive Jeanne: Raymond "Ray" and McKenna Henderson of the Jonesboro, Cassie Nance of Sheridan, Hayden Faughn of Paragould, Luke Hill of Houston, Texas and Blain and Kain Long of Sheridan, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; Harley Lee Camp and Florence Matilda (Krisell) Camp, her husband, R.L. Henderson and her great-grandson, Raleigh Dale Faughn (infant son of Maggie and Ricky Faughn). Jean was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ark. where she was active in her Sunday School Class. Jeanne and R.L. both were previously members of Park Place Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark. before moving to Jonesboro, Ark. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Central Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 10 a.m., May 25, 2017 at Central Baptist Church with Bro.Thomas Walton Camp (brother of the deceased) and Bro. Larry Bailey officiating Emerson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Burial will take place at the family plot in Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 5, Alexander, Ark. Active and Honorary pallbearers will include: Ronnie Krisell, Wayne Krisell, Jimmy Krisell, Bruce Dabbs, Steve Dabbs, Donnie Cureton, Thomas W.(Butch) Camp, Jr., Tony Phillips, Greg Pierce, Jeff Pierce, Lee Pierce, and Doug Phillips.
