Lowell Winningham, age 87, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017. He was born November 5, 1929 in Austin, Arkansas, a son of Kellis Winningham and Beva Barnes Winningham. He was the widower of Rosalie Bean Winningham. Lowell was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Plumerville. He was a Basketball Coach, Superintendent of Plumerville School, and Assistant Superintendent for South Conway County School District. He is survived by his two daughters: Mona Winningham and husband Herbie Rooprai of Chicago, Illinois, Tracy Bardsley and husband Jamie of Perry, and his mother: Judy Brazil of Perry; brother: Doyce Winningham of Birdtown; sister: Drs. Etta Lou and Jimmy Sellars of Mt. View, Missouri; brother-in-law: Danny Bean and wife Deloyte of Morrilton; sister-in-laws: Colleen Fields of Plumerville and Shirley Bean of Plumerville; grandchildren: Brandon Bardsley of Benton, Jonathan Bardsley of Perryville, and Susanne Bardsley of Perry; nieces: Marla Rea, Debbie Brown, Teresa Naff, Karen Price, Ginger Snyder; and nephews: Lee Winningham, Joe Don Winningham, David Bean, Phillip Fields, Derrick Bean, and Lynn Bean. Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Peggye Winningham; brothers-in-law: Charles "String" Bean and Jack Fields; infant nephew: Michael Lynn Bean; and Jamie Bardsley's aunt: Edna Ann Brazil. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 25, at the Harris Chapel with Dr. Bill Brown and Bro. Allen Nelson IV officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery near Formosa, Arkansas by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
