Frances Elizabeth Jeffries

Frances Elizabeth Jeffries, age 92, died at her home in Conway on Friday, May 26, 2017. She was born Oct. 13, 1924 in Morrilton, Ark., to Havis L. and Effie Wright. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Ralph W. Jeffries, by her parents, and her brothers, Lester, Vol, Hosea, Floyd, James and U.C. Wright, and by her sister Hester Wright Harper. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Henry (Kenneth), Debra Strack (Bob), Marsha Harrington (Elry), Paul Jeffries (Sheryl) , and Janet Gray (Tim), by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and by her sisters Nyla Baldridge Johnson and Ruby Hoyt. Frances was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She loved the LORD and read and studied the Bible as long as she was able. She also liked singing hymns and gospel songs. She enjoyed office work and had worked in the offices of Second Baptist Church, First Methodist Church, and the Faulkner Baptist Association. She was a blessing to her family and her caregivers to the very end. We wish to thank those caregivers, who have meant so very much to us all. Visitation will be at noon Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with the funeral services following at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Beryl Cemetery on Hwy 64 East of Conway.
