Lou Ellen Satterfield

Lou Ellen Satterfield, 81, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2017. She was born on March 5, 1936. Lou attended First Baptist Church in Van Buren, Arkansas for the 17 years she lived there. Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd Ollen Satterfield, and her son, Ricky Allen Satterfield. Lou is survived by her two daughters living in Little Rock, Janet Hundley (John) and Susan Satterfield (Carl); three grandchildren, Bruce Hundley, Melissa Hundley, and Joshua Taylor. The family wishes to extend their thanks to all the doctors and nurses at St. Vincent Infirmary and the Arkansas Urology Clinic that cared for Lou so lovingly. Also, to all our family and friends for their constant love and support. Lou and her husband enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing. When they retired they went on the road RV'ing for eight years. Visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211. A Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 2, at Forest Hills Memorial Park. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
