Alice Mae King, age 86, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away October 28, 2017. She was born to Espy and Katie Hoggard on August 7, 1931 in Oak Grove. Alice was a longtime member of Providence United Methodist Church where she played the piano for over fifty years. Alice was very active and involved in Woodlawn Community Center, EHC, Lonoke County Fair Judging, working the election polls, and enjoying BUNCO night monthly with her friends. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Orlicek and husband Mike of Pasadena, Texas; one son, Robert King and wife, Tracy of Lonoke; grandchildren, Eric Orlicek, DeAnna Miller, Linleigh Moss, Tyler and Tanner Hughes; great grandchildren, Hailee, Ryleigh, Malachi, Logan, Greyson, Weston, and Lochlan. Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby King; parents, Espy and Katie Hoggard and sister, Mavis Diggs. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas, 5300 Evergreen Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
