Sharon Jimette Crye, 72, of Springfield, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was born February 6, 1945 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a daughter of James David Crye and Terry Leone Thompson Crye. In 1992, she retired as a District Manager with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in El Paso, Texas, after 29 years of employment. She was a member of the Pioneers Organization with Southwestern Bell, a Union Township Committee Person, a member of the Conway County Democratic Party, a BeautiControl consultant, and co-owner of Springfield Grocery. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her partner in life, Jim Parks of Springfield; sister, Barbara Bradley of Springfield; brother, Jimmy (Barbara)Crye of Springfield; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Eldridge Snow and Bro. Jason Pipes officiating. Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
