Michael John Callahan

Michael John Callahan, 67, of Little Rock, passed away November 5, 2017. He was born to Ted & Evelyn Callahan on May 16, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Michael loved cooking and going to the firing range. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved researching ancestry and genealogy. He had a lifelong interest in military history. He was very proud to have served in the Headquarters Company 212th Signal Battalion, Arkansas Army National Guard. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen Cox Callahan; his son, Jeff (Pam) Callahan; his brother, Dr. Doug (Cathy) Callahan; and his nine loving cats. Graveside service will be held at Carlisle Cemetery on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Feline Rescue & Rehome at www.teamfurr.org.
