Fremont Ellis Johnston

Fremont Ellis Johnston, 93, passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2017. He was born February 17th, 1924. He was a businessman who worked selling chicken eggs and jewelry. He had obtained a Master's Degree in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, and his mother, Gertrude Jones; his brother, Raymond Johnston; and one son, Randy Brooks Johnston. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Altha Johnston, one son, Monty Ellis Johnston, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 11th, 2017 from 12-1 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Kyler Cemetery.
