Connie Marie Loftis

Connie Marie (McKnight), McKim, Loftis, 97, of Alexander, Ark., died Nov. 8, 2017. She was born Nov. 17, 1919, to Frank and Viola (Winningham) McKnight near Formosa, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Loftis; son, Joe T. McKim; grandson Rick McKim; two brothers: Edsel and Kermit McKnight; four sisters: Mildred Maxwell, Eunice Evans, Neva Evans and Maciel Quattlebaum. Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Anita (Marion) Minor of Russellville; two sons: Mike (Belinda) McKim of Benton, Gary (Dinah) McKim of Mabelvale; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mada Knight of Springdale, Ima Jo (Joe) Bradley, Springdale; sisters-in-law: Edith McKnight of Clinton, Joyce McKnight of Wichita, Kan., and surviving members of the Ray Loftis family. Her joy in life was her family, singing, gardening, growing flowers, and just about anything that pertained to being outdoors. She will have a private funeral and interment will be at Quattlebaum Cemetery near Clinton, Ark. Memorials may be made to cancer research.
