Annie Lois Cox

Annie Lois Cox, age 78, of Pocola, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2017. She was born on August 28, 1939. Annie worked as a Nurse at Rose Care Retirement Center in Fort Smith for 20 years. She was a member of Cowboy Church in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was the first female Constable in Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Staton D. Cox, Pocola, Oklahoma, son, Johnny Freeman of Tulloma, Tennessee, and granddaughter, Jennifer Abbott of Jacksonville, Arkansas. Annie is survived by daughters, Beverly Harris of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Linda Abbott of Ward, Arkansas; son, Billy Cox of Pocola, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
