Robert Byron Hogg Jr., (97), of Conway, passed away on November 8, 2017. He was born in Hillsboro, TX, on February 23, 1920, to Sammie Jay Lancaster Hogg and Robert Byron Hogg. Bob was a chemist for Magnolia Oil Company, co-owner of Clifton Auto Store, and retired to Arkansas to become a rancher. He was a WWII veteran assigned to the Army Chemical Warfare Supply Company, landed on Omaha Beach and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Aleen; stepson, Richard Eaton; daughter-in-law, Joyce Eaton; and his sisters, Margaret Hall and Catherine Howard. Left to cherish his memory are stepsons, Don Eaton and wife, Betsy, Birmingham, Ala.; Bill Eaton, Waco, Texas; stepdaughter, Sandy Kraft and husband, Cecil, Conway, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Pat Eaton, Searcy, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
