Jo-Lynn B. Pearson, 91, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was born June 23, 1926 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Linnie Isabella Harrison and Joe Burr. She is survived by five children, Clifford Ray Pearson, Jr. (Ginger), Peggy Lynn Pearson, Donna Leah Monroe (Jeffrey), Cynthia Anne Fiegel (Donald H.) and Janice Carol Lisk (Keith); 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clifford Ray Pearson Sr. "Hands of an artist, smile of a friend" described Jo-Lynn's high school year book picture and was true all her life. She loved raising her children - drawing and painting with them, making clothes and dance costumes, making sure they had piano lessons and played in band, and supporting whatever they did as adults. Jo-Lynn was an excellent secretary at Timex when she became a homemaker, then was proud of her work as a machinist at Teletype, where she retired. She loved her Lord and Savior and had many friends at Bible Study Fellowship and her church. She was a prayer warrior for her children and anyone who requested prayer, as part of her daily prayer and Bible reading routine, guided by the Daily Bread devotional book that she distributed to her children. Jo-Lynn lived life well and we will miss her as long as we're on this earth, but we are joyful at the prospect of seeing her again in Heaven. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017 at Remount Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
