William Martin Weir

William Martin Weir, 74, of Benton, passed away November 16, 2017. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his children, Lisa Morgan of Alexander, Mary Hess of Mabelvale and James Shinault of Benton; brother, Jimmy Weir (Brenda); grandchildren, Samuel Caldwell, Katelyn Williams, Sean Morgan, Emma Morgan, Thomas Heavner and Blake Hess; and great-grandchildren, Ronan Caldwell, Alyce Hess and Tristan Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Weir, wife, Eva Jo Weir, sister, Linda, and an infant brother. Visitation will be Sunday, November 19 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Monday, November 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment with Military Honors at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
