Lura Doris Carruth Outlaw

Lura Doris Carruth Outlaw, age 102, of Hermitage, Ark., died Sunday, November 19, at Chapel Woods in Warren, Ark. She was born March 3, 1915, in Bradley County, Ark., a daughter of the late William Franklin Carruth and Roxie Elaine Grider Carruth. Lura was a homemaker, member of Martin's Chapel United Methodist Church and the widow of Arthur Outlaw who died December 8, 1986. Also preceding her in death were brothers Leonard Carruth, B.F. Carruth and sisters Iris Roberts and Emma Dean Whitman. Survivors are one son Dale Outlaw of Little Rock, Ark.; one daughter, Roxie Speir of Bryant, Ark.; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; two special people in her life Ken and Lenita Thornton of Hermitage, Ark. Graveside service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, at Outlaw Cemetery in Sumpter, Ark., by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, at Frazer's.
