Rick Kesler, 65, of Coldwater, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 10 a.m., at Lockwood Community Church in Coldwater, with Pastor Shayne Looper officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Born Richard Parton Kesler on June 26, 1952 in Charleston, S.C. to Thomas Richard and Martha Sue (Parton) Kesler, Rick was a proud graduate of Little Rock Central High School and then later from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, earning his BBA. Rick was married to Jacque Susan Wilkins from 1968 to 1992. He then married Ginger Johnson on June 12, 1993 in Tifton, Ga. Mr. Kesler was the operations manager for the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Coldwater from 1997 to June of 2015. He had previously been the operations manager for the Target Distribution Center in Tifton, Ga. Rick was a member of Lockwood Community Church and a former member of the South West Christian Church in Little Rock, Ark. He had a great love of music, playing guitar and singing both karaoke and at church. He also enjoyed occasional trips to the casino. Rick was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. He loved coaching kids, even before having his own, and spent many years coaching Little League baseball. Rick is survived by his wife Ginger; his mother Sue Kesler of Haskell, Ark.; his children Thomas Richard "Pepper" (Wendy) Kesler of Parker, Colo., Ginger Allison (Jacob) Kesler of Little Rock, Ark., Taylor Parton Kesler (Alexis Headley) of Coldwater, his siblings Ralph Steven (Kristi) Kesler of Mountain Home, Ark., Elizabeth Alice Kesler of Haskell, Ark.; his grandchildren Thomas Payne, Madison Lea, and Allison Kay Kesler all of Parker, Colo., Natalie Mychael and Sophie Thomys Gray, and Olive Suzanne Kesler, all of Little Rock, Ark.; and his former wife Jacque Susan Rainwater of Little Rock, Ark.
