Freida Louise Tindell

Freida Louise "Lou" Gosha Tindell was born on June 12, 1933 in Lee County, Arkansas. She went to be with her Lord on November 25, 2017. Lou was united in marriage to Joseph Mershon Tindell, Jr. on June 27, 1952. Mershon preceded her in death on February 29, 2008. Lou and Mershon raised their four children on a farm near Rondo, Arkansas and attended Rondo Baptist Church. Lou was also preceded in death by her father and mother, "Bud" Theodore Gosha and Fannie Gosha Standridge, and brother, Ted Gosha. A loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker, she is survived by two daughters, Shelia Tindell Hudson and husband Mark of Little Rock, Arkansas, Beverly Jo Tindell Trimble of Sherwood, Arkansas, two sons Roger Tindell of Searcy, Arkansas, and David Tindell and wife Donna of Mandeville, Louisiana; two grandchildren who were her greatest joys, Chad Bailey Trimble and wife Hayley of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Amanda Tindell Britton and husband Jon of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Emmy Kate Trimble and Shelby Elizabeth Britton; and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed. Lou was lovingly cared for her last years by the greatest team of caregivers, Theresa Joslin, Angela Askew, and Debbie Joyner from First Choice Senior Care. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Theresa, Angela and Debbie. They will forever be a part of the Tindell Family. The family would also like to thank Arkansas Hospice for their care. The family will receive friends at 1:30-3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. A graveside service will be held at Marianna Memorial Park following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205, whose goal is to help all Arkansans affected by Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias live with dignity and comfort until a cure is found.
